Full scale transformation of this beautiful Victorian home in Berkshire, creating an elegant and timeless look which combined the old and the new seamlessly, using antique family pieces combined with modern art and tied together with beautiful fabrics and accent pieces.

Bathroom layouts can be challenging. My experience can guide your choices to create a space that feels good as well as being functional.
SEASIDE ESCAPE
A calm space to get away from it all
Taking inspiration from the views, I incorporated driftwood tones and muted blues and pinks together with some nautical themed artwork and display pieces.
This was a gorgeous space to turn around with a view out to sea. The client wanted the colours to be soft and warm.
New elements were integrated with existing pieces to keep the budget down.

FARMHOUSE RENOVATION
Discovering client style
A gorgeous old farmhouse with a stunning drawing room that needed a new lease of life. The client wanted to keep precious antiques and incorporate them into the room making it feel elegant but wih an injection of colour and lots of layers of fabric and colour.

COACHOUSE RENTAL
Creating a beautiful space to rent whilst retaining existing pieces
This was a fully up-cycle project using all existing furniture and fittings in order to get the space ready for rental as cost effectively as possible. Only the bathroom was new, which was sourced economically.
A re-claimed kitchen was re-worked for the new space and stripped and painted alongside a vintage pine dresser. The kitchen benches were sanded and re-oiled and the blinds re-puposed. The finishing touches brought it all together.

We set Emily a challenging task of renovating our holiday home to give it a modern fresh feel whilst keeping the existing furnishings and a rather tight budget. She worked hard to source some beautiful pieces and brought it all together in a cohesive way that surprised and delighted us - I now want to stay there all the time!

Emily’s first onsite visit was friendly and relaxed, with her asking lots of questions about my vision. She had obviously listened closely because her initial designs were wonderfully intuitive. She was happy to adapt and change designs as she helped me to get closer to my vision. Her “after” support and help has also been great and very appreciated. She works closely to budget and gives lots of options. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
