The consultation is an initial one-to-one meeting designed to discuss your project in detail, along with your requirements and the vision you have for your home. Where possible, this meeting will be held at your property, allowing time to understand both you and your lifestyle, whilst also gaining a full appreciation of the space, its architecture and its surroundings.
It is an opportunity for you to discuss your project, whether you are considering a new layout, selecting colour schemes and finishes, refining furniture choices or simply seeking professional advice on how to make the most of your space.
Following the consultation, you'll receive a summary outlining the key points discussed, agreed objectives, design considerations and scope of work, providing a clear direction for you to move forward with your project.

At Lumen Interior Design, every project is approached with creativity, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of how your home needs to function day to day. I begin by reviewing the existing layout to identify what works well and where improvements can be made, with a focus on enhancing flow, function, and spatial planning.
From there, we develop a clear design direction, exploring style, colour palettes, textures, and materials to define the overall look and feel of your home. Moodboards and concept ideas help bring this vision to life, ensuring a cohesive and considered design.
Practical planning follows, including furniture layouts and the organisation of key spaces, along with a selection of finishes such as paint, flooring, lighting and fixtures. To help you visualise the outcome, I can create 3D drawings of rooms, showing how the layout works and how each space flows.
Throughout the process, the design is continually refined and developed; I will oversee and support the project through to completion, ensuring a result that is both beautiful and highly functional.
